Initiatives Protecting Natural Environment

An article published by earth.org in September 2022 said that India was the world’s second most polluted countries after Bangladesh in 2021. Our country has been constantly facing a rampant rise in environmental threats, especially in cities. Challenges related to air & water pollution, scarcity of food & water, waste management, continued loss of biodiversity & natural resources among other issues have been on the rise. Rapid urbanisation is underway to accommodate increasing population. Vast areas that once had green zone have undergone major deforestation, affecting life at every level. It is essential to make people aware of the daunting consequences of these immediate environmental challenges. If urgent measures are not taken to address these issues, it would have severe life-threatening outcomes.

In this direction, DAF’s initiatives are supporting environmental sustainability. We have been working towards maintaining the integrity of various ecosystems that are crucial for sustaining life on the earth. Our priority is protecting the environment and nature around us. We also plan to promote green lifestyles in near future.
